From Monday 8th November 2021 the new independent Rye Foodbank became the responsibility of the Rye Baptist Church CIO on behalf of Churches Together in Rye and District. Still affiliated to the  Trussell Trust  we are looking forward to a new season of growth and outreach under the leadership of Bob Harper and Chris Emson.
The picture above shows a new seating layout in church removing the need for 2m social distancing. Coffee will be served before and after the service and we ask that you take your arrival drink into the sanctuary and not congregate in the Foyer. Masks should still be worn at all times, but we are now allowed to sing once again! Please act in a responsible manner towards fellow worshippers so that everyone feels safe and comfortable whilst with us. The building will be fogged and sanitised before each service and we ask that you use hand sanitiser as directed. We are now able to have a more familiar worship experience and we do hope you will join with us to enjoy the new freedoms whilst still keeping safe in a time of rising infections locally.
Please remember that your offerings are still needed to maintain the church’s mission at this difficult time. If you normally give cash in the weekly collection, and are unable to resume meeting with us, could we ask that you prayerfully consider using online giving? You can use text giving (details on the Contacts page) or contact Paul or Geoff Austin to set up a standing order, or to make one off payments directly to the church’s account, the details of which are on the Contact page. Thank you so much!
